The race is on for the Anna Frost 10k
With around 2 weeks to go until the Anna Frost Big Trail Weekend runners have been bagging tickets for the events across the three great days at Coed y Brenin between the 29th and 31st of May.
A Day with Anna Frost, on the Friday and the Saturday, followed by the Trails in Motion World Tour day on the 30th May and the inaugural Anna Frost 10k on Sunday the 31st of May make for a festival of trail running hosted by Run. Coed y Brenin and Kiwi trail running star Anna Frost.
AF 10k news comes with the announcement that the event will now be a race. After initially announcing that this would be a non-competitive run Anna and the organising team at Run.Coed y Brenin have decided to add the competitive element to the run.
“The event feel and dynamics will change a little, with people now pinning on a bib number, however the essence of the race will remain, with the emphasis on taking part, completing the challenge, whether gunning for a PB, running your first race, or simply just taking part to simply complete the run with both achievement and participation as it’s founding principles!”
In addition to this Anna has decided that the charity to benefit from the race will be the Nepal Relief Fund, with at least £3 from every entry going towards the cause.
Priced at £15 (plus online booking fee) the Anna Frost 10k offers great value for money with the entry fee including:
Colourful Anna Frost 10k run momento
A fully marked and marshalled route
Prizes for the first 3 men and women
Electronic Chip Timing with post-race text confirmation
Free parking in the overflow car park for the whole day at Coed y Brenin
