Run Coed y Brenin Sponsor News: Healthy snack NINE returns to fuel Coed y Brenin trail runners!

One of the original event sponsors at Run Coed y Brenin – and specifically the first-ever Salomon Trail Marathon Wales event back in 2012, NINE, are back on board as an event partner.

The UK company have struck a deal to support the events at Coed y Brenin for the next 12 months, which includes such classic races as the Salomon Trail Marathon Wales, Petzl Night Trail Wales and the Buff Winter Trail Wales.

Brand Manager at NINE, Michael Cheeseman states:

At NINE we’re all about making healthier snacking… delicious. And we’ve achieved this through the power of seeds. That’s right, we’re seed enthusiasts! Totally obsessed with every type of seed we can get our hands on – sunflower, pumpkin, sesame and chia to name a few. We combine these good seeds with great tastes like Cocoa Orange or Salted Caramel to create the ultimate healthier snack.

“Whether you’re a trail runner, serious about fitness, a busy commuter or a parent on the school run – Everyone has their daily marathon to run!

“We’re really excited to be once again working with the Run Coed y Brenin events team across their events. NINE provide slow release energy which should be the perfect snack for those who love trail running and a healthy post-run snack”.

NINE products will be part of the runners goody bag at the upcoming 2019 Salomon Marathon Wales event, and be available on the route at selected feed stations.

Run Coed y Brenin event manager Matt Ward states:

“We are really excited to welcome back the NINE brand at Run Coed y Brenin events in 2019. The products were always well received by the runners at the races over the years, and a re-alignment of the brand with outdoor sport has seen that partnership rekindled!”
